The Full, Up-To-Date Status on Casa Bonita (August 2023)

FOOD AND FUN IN A FESTIVE ATMOSPHERE!! 

It's here, finally, well sort of... The famed Casa Bonita, purchased, renovated and reopened by South Park's Trey Stone and Matt Parker has finally welcomed visitors. 

Here's everything we know about the famed Casa Bonita reopening, as of August 2023:

• Casa Bonita has done an extended, limited soft opening, operating only on the weekends since late May 2023. 
• Joining their email waitlist is the only way to get one of these limited reservations. That waitlist is reported to be 100,000 people. 
• There's no rumored or officially reported date for the hard launch. 
• Trey Parker and Matt Stone have claimed to have spent $40 million dollars on the renovation, after the purchase was completed in the summer of 2021. 
• Casa Bonita workers were reported to have already been complaining about lack of working hours and benefits related to full time work.  

• Several Youtubers have covered the reopening of Casa Bonita, with overall positive reviews of the experience and much better food than before the ownership change.
