A Reflection on Year 1

Thank you to everyone who has supported us in 2023, visited our site, and stocked by our booth at street fairs. 

We started off 2023 with an idea and a humble budget. We wanted to test if Denver Apparel Company could work as a concept… And hopefully gain some slow building momentum going into 2024. We started off with our first street festival in Arvada in May.  It was slow, very slow.. Like, I mean painfully slow.  We went back to the drawing board and commissioned a number of designs exploring different themes across local Denver landmarks, and many of those have received such positive feedback that’s given us a lot of confidence for the future. We’ve ended 2023 with a lot of momentum going into the new year, and we’re SOO THANKFUL for each of you that’s interacted with us. 

The idea behind the brand is quite simple.  We believe you should be proud of the place you call home, whether chosen or determined for you.  We want high quality, relatively simple products that represent who we are as people. We want to celebrate and understand the common history and shared experiences we have as friends, neighbors, family members, coworkers.  We believe Denver Apparel Company should be a mechanism that can help build Denver’s community, culture, and inclusion. Centered around positivity, helping to bring neighbors together through a common vision to continually improve the place we call home.
